Tomorrow’s Foundation introduced pre-vocational skills training into 7 seven secondary schools in September 2017, as part of the Sarvasiksha mission with the support of the Salaam Bombay foundation.

The main focus areas of the model sow the seeds of ambition and leadership qualities in children, inspiring them and their families to be regular in school and work towards a brighter and healthier future. Tobacco control program- children are armed to stay away from tobacco, enabling them to develop important life skills while appointing them as public health change agents in their schools and communities.

Skills@school- this model aims to prepare children with vocational skills for becoming self-sufficient in earning a decent means of livelihood. Children of class IX under “Sharba Shiksha Abhiyan” were given training in Hardware networking, graphic designing and mobile repairing so they can earn some pocket money.
