The Uttaran Bastar Project encompasses two residential homes in Chhattisgarh. The project started in 2010 directly addressing the needs of children who had lost their homes, parents and families due to the insurgency troubles in that area. The project consists of two residential homes in Bijapur and Dantewada districts of Chhattisgarh which house 50 boys and 100 girls respectively. These two homes are under the control of the Chhattisgarh state govt, under the Juvenile Justice Care and Protection Act 2016-17. The staff provides them with healthcare services, supports them in continuing their education and gives them opportunities to outshine in sports and cultural activities thereby ensuring the holistic development of each and every child.
Tomorrow’s Foundation delivers child protection, residential security with full board and lodging, counseling, training in health and hygiene matters along with schooling to give children opportunities to excel in sports and cultural activities. Additionally we provided bridging facilities to 150 out-of-school orphan girls & boys. We also provided upward linkage facilities to the girls so that they were able to complete graduation and conducted professional courses to these girls with the aim of improving their employability.
